Public Relations and International Affairs of INM- A unique collection of silver coins dating to Sassanian era was introduced in the International Conference of Poland Rzeszow University by Dr. Daryoush Akbarzadeh, the head of Inscription Dept. of INM.
Dialect change of the people of Farsjin village-Abhar in the International Conference of eastern city of Krakow, introducing Sassanian Coins in the International Conference of Poland Rzeszow University and the role of these coins in the history of Persian language in the Iranology Dept. of Krakow were among the topics in this conference, he added.
More than 1000 coins dating to Sassanian era were studied in the Inscription Dept and the way of unearthing, specifications of each coin and Iran coinage sites were presented in this conference.
Among 1265 coins, 1240 dated to Khosro II and the rest dated back to 4th Millennium and Khosro I. So finding this amount of coins from one king has been unprecedented.
He continued with the story of finding these coins: about two years ago in the Iran and Iraq border the Land Forces founded two jars containing more than 1000 coins and after study in the National Museum of Iran, they were sent to Oromieh Museum and now they are keeping in this museum.
According to the research on these coins, a complete data relating to the coins like quantity, Iran coinage sites, different years of coinage, recognizing the signs and letters engraving on the coins and the name of the related king have been gathered to publish as a book and will be used as a reference for researchers.
Since the history of language depends on the written documents, studying on the Sassanian coins can help to find the ways of forming the Persian language, he added.
In the conference of Krakow University which were divided into three categories, historic, architecture and linguistics, I pointed to the way of immigration of the people of this village and the way of forming other villages following this immigration. I studied on the dialect change of this village for the first time, said Dr. Akbarzadeh, the author of Biston Inscription.
In this conference some of the topics were about the architecture of Isfahan and the way of forming Tehran which showed the importance of the history and civilization of our country, he noted.
This conference was held with the presence of researchers from oriental and occidental countries in Poland.
