In November 2009 an exhibition "Select of 10000 Years of Iran Culture, Art and Civilization " will be held in Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul.
149 artifacts of the National Museum of Iran will be on display in Topkapi Palace Museum, said Director General of the NMI, Mohammad Reza Mehrandish.
58 artifacts dating to Prehistory, 31 to Historic, 48 to Islamic eras. Also 12 artifacts are historic inscriptions, he added.
Artifacts like clay tablets, potteries, glass, textile, stone, silver and gold can be seen among these objects. Also these objects have diversity from site point of view. For example we can mention to Susa, Sialk, Marlik, Hassanloo, Choghazanbil, Neishabour, kashan and Ardebil, he noted.
Regarding the agreement between the presidents of Iran and Turkey for developing cultural activities, the Cultural heritage, Handicraft and Tourism Organization has been very serious for holding this exhibition.
This exhibition would be open to the public for three months, he added.
Istanbul will be the cultural capital of Europe in 2010.
